To reach and create awareness-raising sessions on HIV, sexually transmitted infections and life skills to enable young people living in the hot map spot to protect themselves from HIV using an adolescent and youth focused life-skills based programme on youth peer educators from the main cities as well as the host communities will be trained on HIV prevention.
Community-based HIV Prevention and Stigma Reduction Sensitization sessions under the Global Fund Round 8 HIV Grant with religious and community leaders also be conducted to eliminate the stigma and discrimination as well as the gender based violence faced by people in Somaliland.
