SOYVO was established Self Help Groups with 200 poor women to understand and gain knowledge about banking, finance, law in Burao, Ainabo distracts. It also includes destitute children in program packages. In selecting beneficiary, the SHG consider the age, sex, and poverty level of the local people.
The aim of the project in particularly target resource constrained female-headed households to concerted efforts in reducing poverty and empowering women. In economic terms, members of the SHG have access to saving and credit facilities and can receive business skills training from association in order to run small businesses of their own.
